Urban Recovery

Since 2003 we have dedicated ourselves to developing existing and unused buildings in central areas of Mexico City, places where there is already urban infrastructure as well as a demand for residential or commercial use. We have recovered, giving new life and value to more than 15 buildings in Coyoacán, Col. Roma, Tlalpan and Nápoles. This recovery process begins from the first moment that the property is taken possession of, through an intervention and the opening of an art gallery. During this process parts of the building are used for exhibitions, conferences or cultural activities. The remodeling work is carried out according to the provisions of article 62 of the DF Construction Regulations and respecting the INAH or Heritage Sites regulations, where applicable. Reused materials, thermal windows, and the building is equipped with solar heaters, photovoltaic panels as well as bicycles are used. All waste is deposited in approved places. The waste formwork wood is used to make furniture in common areas. All wood used in the finishes is certified. The rooftops become green and habitable spaces. In the end, we managed to completely recover the building. And a sustainable and beautiful building.
